Investment approach

Investment Solutions gives wholesale investors access to individual private market funds and co-investments selected by Spire’s research team. Many are capacity-constrained, or open to Australian investors only at minimums set for institutions.

Each opportunity is assessed under the same diligence standard, Manager Assessment Model and Investment Committee as Spire’s portfolios. The Investment Committee has six members, two of them independent, and is chaired by Peeyush Gupta AM.

Spire then structures the investment as an Australian feeder fund, in AUD or USD, built for local tax, legal, administration, currency and reporting requirements. Spire’s investor relations team supports investors through research, onboarding and the life of the fund.

Open and closed Investment Solutions funds. Closed funds remain listed with their fund details and forms for existing investors and their advisers. The Spire Global Private Markets Portfolio and the Spire Private Opportunistic Portfolio are listed under Portfolio Solutions.

03 · Reporting

Investor reporting

Fund reports, notices and manager updates for Investment Solutions funds are issued to investors through the Spire Investor Portal. Recordings of the webinars from Spire’s semi-annual investor updates are also available there, so investors can hear from the investment team and underlying managers at a time that suits them.

The portal also carries applications and registry data for each investor.

How to invest

Through a financial adviser

A financial adviser can assess whether an open Investment Solutions fund suits a wholesale client. Spire investments are available on administration platforms including Netwealth, HUB24 and Mason Stevens [CONFIRM platform list for Investment Solutions funds].

Directly with Spire

Wholesale investors can apply for open funds through the Spire Investor Portal. Minimum investment is set out in each fund’s offer document. Enquiries to info@spirecapital.com.au.
